Free rides with OKU Smile from February 1

Prasarana introduces the OKU SMILE pass, which enables all registered persons with disabilities (OKU) to enjoy FREE RIDES on all types of Prasarana-operated trains and buses, starting from 1 February 2024.

Existing OKU concession cardholders can activate the pass starting 15 January 2024. New applications for the cards can also be made starting from the same date.

Prasarana will also hold a series of tours with several OKU associations to provide awareness and give descriptions related to this product. Mobile registration counters will also be opened, making it easier for this group to apply for the OKU concession card during the series of tours.

This OKU Smile initiative, which was announced by the Transport Minister on 9 January 2024, is in alignment with Prasarana’s own corporate social responsibility agenda and is expected to benefit OKU riders in the Klang Valley, Penang, and Kuantan, Pahang. It is also an encouragement to the community to use public transport and expand connectivity for them.
