Prasarana paving the way for small traders to boost income at train stations

Prasarana plans to launch more programmes benefiting small traders at its MRT, LRT and Monorail stations in 2024.

The company believes this initiative will give small and home-based traders the opportunity to increase their income while encouraging more people to use public transport.

In December, Prasarana organised “Santai Bersama Rapid KL”, a pilot programme that provided a platform for 52 small traders specialising in food and handicrafts to purvey their products. The programme, which was held at the Kwasa Sentral MRT Station received tremendous response from traders and the public.
